| What is TRAFC? |
|
The organization meets monthly at the Travis AFB Delta Breeze dining facility. Here the group receives updates on Travis activities from the base's leaders. Throughout the year, TRAFC hosts events honoring the men and women Travis. Periodically, the organization's members visit congressional leaders in the nation's capital to seek support for military construction projects, military benefits, equipment improvements, and additional missions. The organization also leads efforts to achieve necessary support from local governments, agencies, and businesses on matters crucial to the base and its operations. In short, TRAFC is the community's eyes, ears, and voice for the people of Travis AFB. Why Join? Members can partake of a number on base activities throughout the year including Military Recognition Night, NCO Night and various base functions. As a member, you show your support for Travis and our military men and women and that support helps ensure Travis remains a vital part of our national defense.
